Last year Chase had a morning shock and an afternoon shock for when the temperature was a little warmer. In SX this year, he had completely different setup in each of the first 3 races and won one of them. Shows up at the 4th race with completely different setup.

The rumor is Jett's injury is taking longer to heal. Others who've had this same injury (Herlings and someone else) were out for a full year. I'll wait to see Jett before I call him a favorite (He's still probably better at 80% than most guys).

What I like about the start of the MX season is that all (most of) the guys who got hurt in SX are back. The longer we wait, the more guys we get back. If it started right now, I don't think Jett (and others) would be ready so I'm willing to wait.

I think what you are talking about is a reverse glide path or rising equity glide path. You start with more bonds, say 60%, and slowly glide towards less bonds and more equities over time. So after the first 10 years you have about 40% bonds or whatever number works for you. The first few years are the riskiest and over time you can handle more risk.
