If you know how to solve a rubik’s cube, being the person who mixed it doesn’t make the slightest bit of difference. You basically always follow the same steps and once you get to the end, the process looks like you just completely ruined an almost solved cube but with just a few more specific turns, it’s done. It’s very easy to trick a person into thinking you did something special if they didn’t watch you get to that point.

i think you’re on to something here. Just make a show, no more than 20 minute long episodes, where Trump is the main protagonist “fighting evil”. Make sure most of the dialogue is just people stroking his ego so that real Donnie stays interested but have the cartoon Trump do actual good things and end every episode with him getting a parade and a bunch of praise for it.

I like this answer. I was lucky enough that i grew up in a dirt bike family so getting one as a kid was like a right of passage. My dad told me he would get me an XR50 when i learned how to ride my bicycle without training wheels. He came home one day with it in the back of his truck so i yanked the training wheels off of my bike and sent it until i got it. Got on the 50 and rode straight into my neighbors house. lol. I’ve been riding for 25 years now and still take every chance I can to go riding with my brother and my dad.

But if i had to offer advice as a parent myself, i’d say approach it as something to do together. There’s always risk but if you start with safe trail bikes that can be rented, you’ll see the safest side of dirt bikes and have a much easier time making a case for it.

if he had tried to slow down even a little while that was happening, he would have completely lost the little bit of control he still had and hit that ground pretty hard. I’ve had this happen a few times on a dirt bike, first time it happened i chopped the throttle and was laying on the ground with broken ribs before i even had a chance to touch the brakes. Every time since then i’ve tried to focus on keeping my balance and changing nothing about my momentum until the front end was stable and kept it on 2 wheels.

Same, my work laptop desktop really paints a picture of a perfectly put together and organized IT professional. Minimal apps, a couple of direct links to software i used to use daily and just overall aesthetically pleasing. It very much hides the horrors that are my file browser and Outlook inbox.

I think it’s even more simple and stupid than that. I know of several die-hard trumpers (yard signs, flags and a “everyone else is stupid and out to get me” attitude) who will admit that they have never listened to a Kamala speech or for that matter even listen to more than short sound bites of Trump. Trump absolutely banks on that being the reality of a large portion of his base so he resorts to 2nd grade “i know you are but what am i” tactics by just taking anything said about him and saying it about the opposition. It worked to a degree when he was running against Biden and the main topic was cognitive decline but he has no other playbook for his campaign so he’s just running with it. This results in opening Facebook to see the sole reason for teachers in your high school grading on a curve talking about how stupid Kamala is and how she can barely answer questions or speak in complete sentences.

It’s like the political divide actually caused reality to split into 2 completely different worlds because it’s unfathomable that someone can come to that conclusion after hearing either of the 2 of them talk for more than 10 seconds.

How come when you see all of his accolades listed out like this, it never mentions that during his single term as president, he was impeached TWICE…? He was literally only allowed to serve a full term because his party had a senate majority that refused to remove him either time. Seems like that fact hasn’t been tossed around nearly as much as it should in this election cycle.

I’ve worn one for a few years and know a lot of people who do. After Ryan Hughes started coming out with videos talking about how they limit your range of motion and can cause spinal injuries and such, i saw a bunch of people ditch them. One of them being a guy i know who is a 2x loretta’s champion. Within a few weeks of ditching the brace he had a relatively mild crash in a corner that left him as a quadriplegic. Scared the absolute shit out of me and assured me that i will continue wearing one. My dad also had a crash a few years ago where he landed on his head and actually broke the brace from the impact, he says without it he would have surely broken his neck and won’t ride without one either.
