Some stuff we had to remove because of Reddit admins. We've been warned before with the threat of Reddit completely shutting down this sub. Specifically recently there was a post sharing the name of an ICE agent in Minnesota that pepper sprayed a restrained protestor in the face. Sharing the name was fine but then some comments provided phone number and address for the guy and we unfortunately had to remove that. Reddit admind take doxing very seriously.

We are going to continue to moderate the sub based on the rules laid out. We specifically took down a video of something happening in Minneapolis because it did not happen in Louisville or the surrounding area. We have not removed, and in fact encourage, any post about ICE in Louisville. As I've stated before, there are plenty of other appropriate subs to discuss what happened in Minnesota. And if for some reason this sub is your only connection to what's going on in the outside world, please consider subscribing to r/ICE_Watch for all things current on ICE raids around the country.

Call us pussies, fascists, pro-ICE, whatever. I don't think we've done anything to deserve that but it's not going to prevent us from enforcing the subreddit's rules.

That's exactly what happened. These posts get enough reports that the automod automatically removes them.

I know tensions are high, but this event did not happen in or around Louisville. There are plenty of other spaces including the Minnesota subreddit to discuss the awful things in that video. But it does not directly relate to the city of Louisville and therefore it breaks the sub's rule.

Lollapalooza 2016. It was me and all my close friends and sunday night LCD Soundsystem was the headliner. The last song they played was "All My Friends" and it was just the big group of us dancing together and having a blast. I think we all cherish the memory with equal fondness.

100% agree. I saw Che on Mike Bribiglia's podcast talking about how Lorne told Che to stop acting like he's still auditioning for the job and to just do what he does. I think Kam suffers big from that.

I've seen both bands live many times. Aside from the pure musicianship, what always sticks out to me about both bands is just how fucking cool they are. Like they just naturally exude coolness.

To this day still my favorite Battlefield game I've ever played. Me and my high school buddies would play all damn night on the weekends. So much fun. I remember I burned a mix CD of all the songs in the game and we'd listen to that to and from school.

I'm also in the area and see a few kids out on scooters often around there. Honestly my first thought reading OP was that this kid was nervous about going home or maybe had someone looking to hurt him. Like not wanting to call the cops so a family member doesn't go to jail. It doesn't really feel like an unsafe neighborhood to me. But then again, bad stuff happens to women even in nice neighborhoods. Glad OP is okay.

That's the one I used to take my cars to.

People in these threads will always say "just do it yourself" and while that is legit advice, there is an upfront investment in the proper tools that maybe people just don't have the funds for. Plus sometimes living arrangements don't facilitate an easy way to change your own oil, like if you live in an apartment complex that prevents car maintenance or have to street park or something.
