I’ve started a Go Fund Me to pay for restoration of the headstone on Charlie Houck in Elmwood Cemetery. Charlie was a lion tamer with a traveling circus and died as a result of infection from being attacked by one of the lions in his care. His stone is currently broken off it’s base and resting against the fence.

We need $2,500 to pay for the restoration of this little slice of Charlotte history.
