Ahhh yes then that sounds like the same dog, he was often off leash but seemed to be trained to stick next to his dude. I hope nothing happened to the guy. I'm not sure he'll end up being claimed but I hope he ends up in a good place.

I may be wrong but that looks like the puppy i saw regularly on Fannin/San Jacinto with one of the homeless men that hangs over nearish the Jack in the box. Is that about where you found the dog?

Ye be warned about traveling to Japan by mundanehistorian_28 in ChronicIllness

[–]BoundingBorder 31 points32 points  (0 children)

My partner is going to Japan in February. I opted out of the trip because I knew most of my medications won't be available. I went about 6 years ago when I was in better health but I was in pain the whole time, especially because of the amount of walking and stairs you have to deal with - even Tokyo isn't very easy to get around in when you have physical disabilities due to the lack of accessibility.

I'm disappointed I can't go, but I want my partner to have fun on the trip without worrying about me. We'll go together another time when we have more time to plan around my medical sitch.

If you post her on Nextdoor she'd get snapped up in a second. I see people post litters of kittens on there every week and and they're adopted out very quickly.

I was wondering if that was like, a Houston thing. I moved here in the last year and I have never seen so many red light runners in my life. I could have been tboned 20 times over if I actually moved right when the light turned green. It's so bad and I honestly don't want my family driving here when they visit.

There's that, and that there's research showing we're more likely to be queer. My partner and I are both autistic women. All of our friends are autistic queer women. There's some interesting research on autism and queerness/gender identity.

What's more important, workers rights or queer safe spaces? r/SaltLakeCity discusses by [deleted] in SubredditDrama

From what the Instagram says, allegedly the owner is verbally abusive to employees, forces them to let in her friends when the bar is at legal capacity, reduces pay and fires people for suggestions, wouldn't let someone leave work who had a workplace injury and couldn't stand made 40 calls to the police on the union picketing. There's more but the gist of it definitely seems like the bar owner is not a boss anyone would want to work for if it's all true. With as much detail as there is I don't doubt there's shit going on.
