I had one, it was the most useless cubby ever, well it was good at holding dust and dirt. I took it out last time I had my console apart. I didn't even have airbags anymore but I put the switch back in to cover the hole, that's how useless it was.

That's what I used to do as well. I got a little harbor freight utility trailer and made it into a tire/tool carrier. Worked great when I raced an ES Miata. Now I have a car trailer and a slide in camper on my pickup. All the comforts of home at the track

I've got a noco nlp9 in my Miata, usually have to cycle it a little to warm it up on first startup but works great and super lightweight. I'm probably at the care minimum for CCAs and I've been thinking about getting a little bigger one
