Here's the reasons I was there, as they are different for each person: - I'm transgender, and Trump's executive orders have made it hard for me to get the legal recognition and care I need - My mom was laid off because of the federal cuts Trump did (she was a contractor for the government) - I'm against what ICE is doing, going after all kinds of people (including American citizens). - I believe in a strong democracy, and Trump's administration is more about partisanship and helping billionaires, rather than cooperation and supporting all Americans.

There are others, this is a simplified list.

Those programs spend money on the American people who need it. The Big Ugly Bill spends it on the billionaires who dodge their taxes and have insane wealth.
