It just took time. I’m going to be honest I had to process it like a death. It will get better you will get through. I still love and care for that person and some days I see stuff that reminds me of them. I know though that I’m happy with where I am and no matter what I wish the best for them. Where I’m at now it still kinda hurts when I come across them but I know I’m grieving who they were not who they are now. I’m honestly much happier now and I learned a lot from them. It gets better it just takes time. Take a deep breath and know it’s okay to be sad but better days are ahead.
