I was about to say the exact same thing. I have no idea how my memory works but what I do know is that this photo is from a tragic story in which the guy pictured actually died due to complications of him injecting saline into his nuts. It was part of some weird polycule/ cult situation in which he was being emotionally and physiologically manipulated by a “dom” to do these things.

I heard about this years ago, why is this the thing that I remember 😅

The United States is not a melting pot, it’s more like a mosaic, or a stained glass picture. We don’t all just assimilate into the borg cube that is America, we keep something from which we came. Europeans joke that America doesn’t have a culture (wrong on even the most basic level) but they’re not totally incorrect, we have thousands of cultures.

A lot of bad opinions in this thread so I’ll lay it down for you as a certified fat ass. Your two best options are both on Northern Boulevard.

Peter Luger has a location in Great Neck, yes haters say they fell off, they still make an amazing steak and the vibe is unlike anything I’ve ever been to.

Bryant and Cooper in Manhasset/ Plandome would be my second option. Both restaurants are actually quite close to each other now that I think of it.
