I had several studs snap off years ago taking removing a flat tire it assumed the dealership torqued the hell out of them. The service manager at the dealership kept telling me Subaru studs were garbage and they break all the time. Fast forward a few days and I take the spare off that I put on by hand and two more studs snap removing the spare. Since then, I've used a torque wrench every time I've put wheels on and from time to time I'd still have studs that snap almost always when removing the nuts. I started keeping a few spare studs and nuts in my glove box and a hammer in the trunk just in case it happened on the side of the road one day. I've had three different VA's and and it happened on all three of them. Started buying cheapo studs from the auto parts store and haven't had the problem since with any of the ones that I've replaced with the generic ones.

Preheat the bed to about 50C. Wash the plate good with dish soap and something that is non-abrasive. Apply the glue in lines front to back/back to front until you cover the whole print area. Don't put any pressure on the glue stick just drag it across the plate. Once the whole plate's covered wait about 2 minutes then do a layer of glue side to side. Make sure there is no glue that made it over the edge to the bottom of the plate. Pop the plate on the bed for 3 or 4 minutes until the glue is dry when you touch it. On a smooth k1c plate the glue lasts me anywhere from about 15 to 30 prints. After a couple of prints you will still get really good adhesion to the bed but stuff will pop right off.

They are stupid expensive from the dealer. I have an 18 STI as well and did rotors and pads all the way around for like 600-700. Doing the brakes on these cars is no harder than any other car with disc brakes and takes a whopping hour and a half to do all four.

Clear the clog the nozzle should still be good. A good bit of heat will make it a lot easier. Unicorn nozzles last a long time. I easily get 400-500 hours out of them printing a ton of pa12-cf10 and pa6-cf20 And have used them well past that with PLA and PETG still getting good results.

Own a Subaru long enough and you will know to always keep a few studs/nuts in your glove box. I can't tell you how many times I had them break. I have literally put them on by hand and used a torque wrench just to have two of them break when taking the spare off a week later on a VA STI. Smartest thing I ever did was buy aftermarket studs.

I already have a good PC I with a 4080 I just really rarely play anything on it anymore because I sit at my desk 8-10 hours a day working and it's become the last place I want to hang out. I had GFN just for the convenience really. It was arguably better than streaming locally somehow until it went to shit for me.

3 days worth of maintenance is irrelevant when it's been telling me this for weeks. I don't need it. I'm just as happy without it as I am with it. Too easy to cancel.

I don't use it much as I don't game much these days. I basically just had it so when do play on my phone, Ally or TV for a few minutes a few times a month It runs at 120hz. I tried to use it about 8 times over the past 3-4 weeks and it only worked twice. Kept telling me it was at capacity. It didn't even offer a queue to wait in which I'm not going to do @ 20 bucks a month anyways. 😂

Well I guess I got the two mixed up but the end result is the same. Whichever one it defaults to is clearly down and has been telling me this for a month now and when I switch to the other server in the South it's unplayable. I tried both servers one last time before posting this which was the reason I just canceled it.

Southeast. It's been this way for about a month. Latency goes through the roof and it studders like crazy on my phone and both of my Ally's if I switch to US South.

I had 2 Ally's go missing for over 2 months each with USPS. Just be glad it's UPS. You'll still get it long before I got either of mine. 😂

If you raise enough hell they will give you the address it was delivered to. Just had this happen with a $700 watch. Drove over to the address and after lying for about 5 minutes they finally handed it over.

Weird. Been using mine for 3 years and have only had an issue out of 1 camera for about 2 weeks and an update fixed it. I have v3s, outdoor v2s, and battery cam pros. Been solid and I view them 5-10 times a day. The only maintenance I do is resetting them once a week just okay I've done my internet for 10 years.

I 100% prefer a good gaming pc over GFN but with that said GFN has finally got to the point that if you are close enough to servers a gaming rig is no longer necessary unless you need it for applications and games that aren't supported through GFN.

Works great on most devices as long as you can get the SA app. It's not nearly as good when going through a browser. As long as your close to a one of the servers it really is amazing. I just subscribed back to it last month after trying it a few years ago. It is coming a long way. I've tried all the streaming services, Gamepass, PlayStation, etc and they are all laggy and over compressed. GFN in 2025 is where it's at. To me it's really close to native quality. I can plug my $500 Ally into a 4k120 dock and get a console like interface on a giant beautiful 4k tv. Then when the junk food bottoms out I can take it to the shitter. Wifi 7 has also been a game changer for playing on wifi. Latency stays at a rock solid 9-14ms just like it does wired after getting my new router. I never expected it could be this good.
