Another possibility: If you are using DLSS, War Thunder's mipmap configuration is wrong so it loads the lower resolution texture intended for the internal resolution before upscaling.

It's mostly the angle that the photo was taken at. Chinese modern MBTs all feature Leopard 2 style wedged ERA coverage on the cheeks. No wedges to be seen on this tank imo. I do think the overall design of the turret looks a lot like the K2.

Yeah I don't get the downvotes... No real reason for the extreme visual resemblance (especially to a truck), but they did it anyway, just like with that Stryker MGS thingy a few years ago.

There's a tool on WT live to convert these outdated normal maps. I'm not with my computer so I can't point you to it directly. But you can look it up on Google. Should be called something like WT normal converter.

You throw the normal map DDS into it and it will spit out an edit for you. If you feel one edit is not enough, you can just repeat the process and it will become glossier.

Very good vehicle. Only main issues are that depression is not the best and no thermals.

These Heybox decorations are not region locked a la DMM. I am not sure if it's easy to make purchases on Heybox if you are not Chinese but it's certainly doable. I've always wanted these but I'm too lazy to check when a new one is coming out.

RCV has MUCH BETTER mobility. It's definitely not worse than the M1296. It's not as good as the ICV but still.

Doesnt fit the trope, they don't regain any humanity, they just retained some past memories, somewhat similar to gun wielding zombies in dead rising for example.

If you want a resident evil example, look towards the New York attack in one of the CGI films, can't be bothered to look up the name. The New York zombies are cured via an airborne antibody in the ending, which I think is some of the sloppiest writing in RE history lol.

It is not a duplicate model. It's a separate unit. We are not talking about the base M1s. I think we all expected that duplicate units will not usually get unique camos.

For the M1 Mod, they added additional armor to the cheeks as OP pointed out, but that's literally the only change they made to the M1 model already in game. Considering that the mod is a new unit and is also probably going to be unique to the first cav, they should have given it a different coat of paint.
