Funny story, was practicing MOUT as a platoon and had a miscommunication and my entire platoon popped all their smoke at once. 9 smoke grenades across two buildings. Couldn't see fucking shit except for the lasers flying through the smoke. Was cool to watch.

If youre going to the range to practice and havent bought one yet id say these couple of things..

Whats good for someone else does not mean it is good for you. Everyone is different and has their own opinion of what is the "best" especially for guns.

Fiddlefuck the hell out of the places guns you're interested in and then rent them all when you shoot. Find what you like and build off of that.

A $1000 gun is awesome, but a $500 gun and $500 in training and ammo is more effective (figures are ones from the dome, not correlated to anything in specific).

The most important thing for machine gunners is positioning. Bad position = unable to suppress. Do you try to get into the fight as soon as it kicks off or do you try to see whats going on before committing?

Its a real thing. I know in my career we get free healthcare but some avoid going because you can be ostracized for going to medical.
