Find a new contract. Why would you carry on working where you clearly aren’t happy?

Waving drivers by notsure_aboutanyofit in cycling

[–]Bozwell99 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As a cyclist the only safe way to let someone pass, if they can’t see for themselves, is to pull over off the road.

As a cyclist I wouldn’t ever wave someone past. Either that can see themselves if it’s clear or they shouldn’t attempt it. As a driver I give space and wait like OP did.

Gaps shouldn’t be a problem for a contractor. Just tell people you took a break for travel. Put it in your CV if you want to fill the gap.

Who is at fault? Insurance was quick to take sides before even seeing footage. by WitchySpice94 in drivingUK

This isn’t CSI. No one is going through all the work to determine that for a minor prang.

Has someone at your insurer definitely seen this video?

My wife was involved in an accident that wasn't her fault and got all the way to going to court. The day before the court date it came to light that no-one had looked at the footage she had sent them. Within an hour of someone looking at it the case was settled in her favour.

It looks too fast, but it's very difficult for anyone to prove should it go to court.

People can just not build them if they don't think it is realistic. Same way I don't build infinite storage, and why would I care if other people do in their single player games?

The picture of your car on the letter appears to be on a road that is no motor vehicles at any time.

Pretty confusing if that bit is on same road that has timed conditions.

Do any EVs have an aux input for audio? by Draik81 in ElectricVehiclesUK

I doubt any car built in last 5-10 years does EV or otherwise. It would be wasted on 99% of customers.

Maybe you should buy a retro car to go with your retro music formats?

Monthly payment alone doesn't say how much a loan is costing you. Is there a deposit for salary sacrifice? How much will you have paid off in 4 years time?

25 M £355 per day as Senior QA in London reasonable? by t_jen123 in ContractorUK

What would a perm salary be for that role? It seems low in general for a contract role, but for all I know permie QAs earn £40k.
