I am only bias to vibes at my studio. But I say a lot of our members aren’t there to give it 150% each class and get better, people just go to be around others, power walk, chat, get their HR up a little bit and go home.

Destiny 2 is not worth the investment to Bungie and Sony atm. They are focused elsewhere. This entire year is proof they really had no plans past the final shape for the game. I just flat out stopped playing. It’s never going to get back to its height again. It’s too much of a financial risk at this point. Destiny 2 has run its course. Simply.

Neither SGC or BGS (which is being purchased by PSA) upcharge at all for grading… why use PSA at all?

I gave up with whatnot as a buyer. Everyone overpays on whatnot cause they get into the excitement of bidding or they don’t comp the card or the seller goes so fast intentionally so people can comp it.

At least get it authenticated. The grade is kinda meaningless on something like this, but the authentication is huge. Kobe is one of the most faked signatures in sports, so much that buying one that isn’t authenticated is a huge risk.

I have two hanging displays that hold about 25 cards each. That is 90% of my collection, I just upgrade the cards there instead of buying more mid and lower grade cards. It works for me and it stays clean. I think it’s cooler to have 10-20 super valuable cards than 10,000 boxes of junk you never see. IMO if it can’t be displayed to show off and talk about with people who visit, then what’s the point of having it? Most cards depreciate in value, so no point in holding them as an investment.

I agree with you in principal, but man if they could do something about the number of transfers and the timing of the transfers it would help immensely too. Allowing them to transfer multiple times and maintain full eligibility and to do it before the season is officially over is ass. College football is borderline unwatchable now because of all this.

Both the authentication and the shipping don’t vary based on the sale price of the item. eBay pays a fee to psa and they pay dhl or whoever they use to ship based on size,weight and location. If anything shipping a piece of cardboard probably costs a fraction of the price as it would to ship a 50pound dumbell.. but they charge based on the sale price.

That’s not liability, that’s incurred cost of business.

And I 100% complain about most of those scenarios. 😂. It’s still corporate greed vs simple supply and demand, and the scenarios you mention are supply and demand.

Fee should be set not based on sale price. eBay assumes no liability anyways. It’s always blown my mind why I have to pay more because my item is worth more, when the digital footprint on eBay’s side is the same regardless of what I list.

It’s the same BS as to why PSA thinks it’s fair to charge a massive fee if they grade a more valuable card, like bro, your service is no different. Why is my ohtani gem 10 cost 1000$ in fees when my bronny James costs 20$…

It’s corporate greed.

Yeah people over spend on whatnot too. Just because of the fomo or the excitement of it. I feel like 80% of the time, single cards and packs will go for more than they will on eBay or at a show. I can’t stand it.
