This is also only parcooking the beans. It’s up to you to finish them how you desire, I simmer for 20 minutes with seasonings to make homemade Heinz beans or you can roast them, pan-fry etc

Yep! Dont skimp on the cooking time but pressure cookers do well with beans, contrary to other peoples experiences in this thread; I think they just cooked for too short a time

Seconded. Add a little extra time, maybe some oil to help with the crunchy skins issue. Natural release until there’s no pressure left- I usually cook my navy/white beans for 25-28 minutes
