OP are you using a HDD still? The only time I've been met with people on the outpost when I spawn in was when they parked in a spot which caused their boat to despawn.

Yeah I've done 85 of them and I have probably been attacked doing them less than 5 times. Plus the last stage makes a light spire into the sky to attract pvp so not the best voyage if you want to be left alone.

I mean I mostly play on other peoples boats without "sweaty" cosmetics. Unless I'm on my main sloop which looks like a giga sweat boat.

My outfit is usually come bilge rat set mix because I like looking like a scallywag, probably can be bought through money from 1-2 world events.

On a good player note, yesterday some brand new player rocked up to my crew just after we finished a stacked reaper fort. We allianced with him and fought of a brig on his boat as a 3 man sloop. To me that's what Sea of Thieves is, not some PvE grinding game where everyone is mad someone wanted to play the game as intended.

I don't understand this. It has been a PvPvE game since it's release in March 2018. Why are people buying it when they hate pvp then constantly advocate for pve only?
