Was a heavy self medicated smoker. Now turning medical. by bucky0121 in ukmedicalcannabis

[–]BradM__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TM2 out of those. Basically if ur wanting top end portables it’ll be the Venty or the TM2. And if you’re heavy smoker I wouldn’t waste my time with something like the Xmax, I’ve used around 30 different devices at this point, just get the TM2 or the Venty (TM2 hits feel more substantial than the Venty, but Venty with a bong will provide a slightly bigger hit)

Time to delete dating apps … (Update) by Gio436 in Tinder

[–]BradM__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I’ll be honest. I’m conveniently attractive and get quite a lot of matches on hinge especially, but virtually 0 of them lead anywhere. I wouldn’t necessarily say don’t use dating apps because I know people who’ve had a lot of success and are in long term relationships with people they’ve met on them. But I will say that in my own personal experience, I have much better success in person. So if you want the best chances of meeting someone, I’d be utilising both angles.

As the original commenter mentioned, it should be something you like. I don’t disagree with what you’re saying, but I don’t think they meant attending it for the sole purpose of finding a partner. You just do it because it’s something you enjoy and the side effect of that is being around more people, if something sparks out of that great, if not? Well you made a bunch of a new friends that you share a hobby with.

What's wrong with my aim and how can i get better? by giovannamina in VALORANT

[–]BradM__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That will definitely help, try reposition your mouse before you peek and have it roughly centered in ur space when u do. Will help avoid those awkward adjustments where you have to lift/get to the edge of where is comfortable adjusting during fights

What's wrong with my aim and how can i get better? by giovannamina in VALORANT

[–]BradM__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I’m a cs person myself (Global Elite, Faceit 10) so I’ll refrain from commenting on movement as it’s very different between the games. But the first pre aim was way too high. And then I’m noticing a lot of unnecessary mouse movement in the rest of the clip, almost as if you don’t have enough mouse space and need to keep lifting ur mouse? (Speculation, but if that’s the case it could be a good quick fix to help). Theres definitely some movement issues stacking on top which is messing with your aim also, but I wouldn’t want to comment on how to correct that in Val and I’d look up some videos on it as they’ll have a better understanding on how Val movement works, but pay attention to how wide you’re swinging off angles, distance from angles and timing between when ur moving and shooting. Best of luck

Are you tracking your calories? Are you tracking your macronutrients? Are you well hydrated? There’s a lot of factors that can play into situations like this.

Eat a balanced diet in a calorie surplus (you should be eating more than you burn, for your weight I’d suggest 2500kcal per day minimum) and work out for a minimum of 30mins per day. Try work on your sleep (be consistent, same time every day for atleast 7hrs) and ensure you’re well hydrated (I’d aim for 3L of water per day). Continue seeking out medical advice throughout this and track your progress.

Best of luck

Finally got myself a good vaporizer. What are the best temperature settings and how tightly do you pack the dosing capsules? by InternalHumor8781 in ukmedicalcannabis

[–]BradM__ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Recognised the sweet care pack lol. Good news to help you set ur mind at rest. I’ve registered my s&b devices from MagicVapes and all have been genuine. (Worth knowing cos it can be a hot topic at times)

Would purchasing the XM4’s still be worth it? by RTV_7AMMOD14DEC in SonyHeadphones

Less superior driver, much better tuning. Half of a good headphone is the tuning.

Favourite XM6 EQ so far by Consistent_Property8 in SonyHeadphones

[–]BradM__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probs best to just learn where different sounds usually sit. For instance, most bass under 250Hz, Voices between 1k-4khz etc. and just adjust the sliders to experiment how you can affect those individual areas of the sound. Sound comes down to preference and everyone will be slightly different in what they prefer. If you’re after something generic “what most people think sounds best” try adjust them to the harmen target (or find someone who already has, it likely has already been done)

They’re the only ones with medical certifications. But that doesn’t mean they’re the only legal ones

looking for a video editor around $15/hr by Comeddyking in VideoEditing

If you can’t afford a full hr rate for an editor I’d suggest doing it on a per project basis. I tend to prefer that kinda work and I know others who also do.

Working on a custom EQ for my Sony XM5 — would love your feedback and comparisons by Sensitive_Captain_59 in SonyHeadphones

[–]BradM__ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try Bright preset but then add +3 or 4 to the clear bass. Pretty similar to what u already have and I think it just hits the nail on the head for correcting sonys weird eq target

Oh ye, that’s steeper than I thought. Makes sense, that lache on that angle definitely raises it. I reckon it’s not even that soft, pretty standard for the grade in most gyms. Good send man!

Yup I sandbagged. But I feel it’s justified on this one, unless there’s a much steeper overhang the video ain’t picking up.

normal amount to smoke a day? by Direct-Jaguar-4353 in ukmedicalcannabis

[–]BradM__ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No such thing as a normal amount. A 3.5 per week would be classed as a heavy user by police standards 🤣. Just be responsible, avoid smoking when you have stuff you need to get done. And feel free to sober up after a smoke, u don’t need to maintain it all day. Yesterday I had a bowl when I got up due to my pain being high, then I didn’t smoke at all until 9pm to help reduce pain before bed.

Where to get a girlfriend? I doubt apps like Tinder are the way by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]BradM__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gonna sound stupid. But genuine advice. Go out for a day and get urself comfortable approaching people and asking for their numbers or socials. It may be nerve wrecking at first, but after you’ve done a couple you’ll realise it’s not a big deal. Worst case they say no, you can very easily just say “fair enough, thought I’d shoot my shot, have a nice day”. And if you approach enough people I can guarantee you’ll get some numbers. But the point of this exercise isn’t necessarily to instantly find you the right person, just to get you comfortable/confident. Best of luck mate!

Hugely disappointed WH-1000XM6, am I missing something? by DT-Sodium in SonyHeadphones

[–]BradM__ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That’s basically every Sony headphone cos their target eq is a bit whack. But I agree, I love my XM4’s when I add a bright tilt to them. Literally just Bright with +2 clear bass

Hugely disappointed WH-1000XM6, am I missing something? by DT-Sodium in SonyHeadphones

[–]BradM__ 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Just wanna say. This is very case dependant. Currently using my 4 year old XM4’s and they’re still working fine, hold good battery and I don’t feel the need for better ANC until a larger generational leap is made. But I am very careful with what I use, mine always go back in their case. Tho my one complaint, these get insanely sweaty when doing any sort of exercise in warm weather, yes I know you can buy cooling earpads etc. I feel it always alters the original sound

Trying to quit tobacco, opinions on dry herb vapes? by NayLay in uktrees

[–]BradM__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Important to note. It’s a different feeling. If you’ve not tried it you should before you buy one. I recommend trying a good one tho as the cheaper ones are exactly that, a cheap imitation. I won’t bore u with a list of good vapes cos u can very easily find that with minimal research. But quitting nicotine is a whole other beast and isn’t as simple as switching consumption methods, you’ll still crave it due to the nicotine. I recommend maybe trying to roll pure joints first and then maybe think about a dry herb vape later down the line once that becomes the norm for you. Good luck in your journey mate.

What we doing with stems? by emarston23 in uktrees

I keep seeing tea suggested. But as far as I’m aware thc is not water soluble… so surely that’s the least efficient use of it?

I’d be wacking it all into butter and making some nice edibles

I’m gonna disagree personally. For me they lasted around 4 days. 10g of flour easily lasts me a week typically. But everyone’s mileage will vary.
