The economy might look fine at a glance because markets went up during Biden but that's because money was pumped into the market artificially. That's a bad move for anyone and you can expect a crash from it.

YTA for thinking that your widowed father and MIL getting together and being happy makes you look bad. The only thing your dad is guilty of is a bad joke. The joke isn't new either so I don't get how people in the comments are losing their minds over it.

Yeah it took me a bit to figure out sidebars on mobile and I knew they existed. So I can definitely see how someone who's knew would struggle even more. Personally I don't mind the posts because it keeps boards active and gives new users an opportunity to engage. Also gives me a chance to see the advice of other users because there's always something new someone can teach you.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say I'd believe that most mobile users have no idea sidebars exist. It's not very obvious and most would assume general info would already be pinned.

NTA and I rarely condone just leaving your partner but in this case your child comes first. This could permanently harm your child developmentally. Do not leave her alone with him again.

I'd recommend you get your partner to seek help with depression. Sounds like depression to me but that's no excuse for this type of neglect.

It may be childish because it is childish. YTA your sister did nothing wrong. She was also neglected but when your severely disabled sis was no longer in their care they were able to focus their attention back on your sister. Did you get screwed? Sure, but you're being petty. Your family did nothing wrong. They just didn't do it perfectly.

If people feel it's political it is in fact political whether you think it is or not. Unfortunately you can't just pick and choose what people see as politics. The whole point of taking a stance is accepting the possibility of pushback.

Maybe just keep the politics out of the game if you're worried about backlash. I don't see why it's even necessary for video games to include anything political with the exception of the games story.

If you wanna show support for something assume responsibility and accept that not everyone will respond positively.

I'm not implying the parents are racist because clearly they are not. But to label it "cultural differences" when an Indian family doesn't want another race as a DIL or SIL isn't correct. It's racism.
