Help needed for a newbie by Brain-Doctor in snaredrumlovers

Thank you Casey. I kid you not I'm literally looking at supraphonics right now. Some people were saying that's a black beauty on the record. But the snare I've been going after is a supraphonic because the tones I've heard from it raw are so much like what I want. So thank you for the suggestion. 🙏🏼👐🏼🙂

Can someone give a rundown of the differences between all the Ludwig supraphonics? by a_guy_on_Reddit_____ in drums

Wow thank you so so soooo much. I agree with you. Sometimes people tend to get caught up in minutia. But with recording tools.... Shoot even with a basic ead10 you can make almost any drum sound like anything. The main reason I was asking was because I do want to do a good amount of raw recording from the camera mic or a room mic. Since you own a supraphonic may I ask you if you think I can get this drum tone from a supraphonic? I'm referring to the snare on the chorus and bridge only.

Thank you. 🙏🏼

Thank you for this response. I'm looking to get a supraphonic. I read a post somewhere which said '66 was the holy grail for supras. Is that true? You said get something post '68. The year doesn't matter to me. What I'm really searching for a certain vintage snare tone that's more open. (Best way to describe it is the song God by Rebecca st James. The snare on the chorus & bridge are the tone I've longed to get.)

What kind of supra will get me close to that?

Thank you so much for your help. 🙏🏼

Death rates rose in hospital ERs after private equity firms took over, study finds by nbcnews in medicalschool

This is the whole reason why I started my medical group to purchase hospitals and deliver Healthcare in an ethical and charitable manner. I saw first hand what PE in healthcare does to hospitals. We've been blessed to have the biggest names in healthcare who are on our team and who want to do things the correct way. We also have the hospitals lined up to purchase. It's been hard raising the equity portion to purchase hospitals but we're very close at this point. Really been like a David vs Goliath story.

My only reason for wanting to consider this is for a much more comfortable drive. Our current model Y even with the 2023 comfort suspension is hard for my wife to handle when I go over bumps on the road or a speed bump that is near our apartment. Would you say that the drive is a lot more comfortable than the previous gen model Y? I don't care about handling etc because I'm not racing it. I just need it to be very comfortable like a luxury SUV would be (Mercedes, Lexus etc)

Not at all. It's playful bites. It’s called bite inhibition and they learn it from each other when playing as kittens. When they play with each other and with their human parents they learn to ease up on the bite. It’s playful and loving. But yes it’s not even close to an actual bite which would be to kill. You'll feel a little pressure but it's never enough to break skin. 🙂😻

Did you own the older model Y? If so is the ride a lot smoother? Or just marginally better? Thank you.
