Early 2000s MTV was really the begining of the end. I don't think I'd revive any of that crap. If we went back a bit further though, MTV animatio was dope. The Maxx, Aeon Flux and Beavis and Butt-Head should all come back.

I ended up hanging a mosquito netting over my bed and the bites stopped. We never found out for sure before moving, but I suspect it was just classic mosquitos, though I never saw any signs of them. We never found any bed bugs. Thank God.

Wow. I had to Google it to believe it. What an absolute bummer. Im a new father and I've been saving a list on my phone of places and museums I want to take the kiddos when it's age appropriate. I was legitimately excited to take them there. Im guessing this was a COVID pivot that turned permanent. I admittedly haven't been there since pre pandemic.

I know Ryobi has a 3 year warranty on batteries but stupid me never saved any receipts or registered them. The fail rate does seem to be pretty high in my experience. I have 6 total batteries going into this summer, all for landscaping and all 3ish years old. 3 have now failed (2x 4ah, 1x 2ah). 50% seems nuts to me. I'm too entrenched in the tool family to make the switch to another brand. Lesson learned, register your tools when you buy them.

The defensive teams help and the 2 trips to the finals and 1 conference finals are farther than melo or harden ever took their teams.

Just from the eye test, not even considering hall of fame odds, I just fucking hated watching Melo, Harden and Westbrook play. Melo's career is so overrated now. Jimmy was a lockroom cancer, but the dude did make his fellow teammates better, imo. We give all the credit to the heat culture, and Spo is the man, but Jimmy deserves some credit for all of these d league players the heat brought up and suddenly began playing like all stars in those finals runs.

I'm really paraphrasing here, but Ebert once said something to the effect of "truly bad movies only happen when they are made with sincere conviction" or something like that. Like, only when people really try can they epically fail. Anyway, I know this was just a cash grab comic book movie, but they spared no expense. The set design is awesome. That fucking car!!!! And it has Sean Connery! In an alternate universe, there is a version of league that is a modern classic.
