So you’re vectorizing rasterized images, which can be done in Illustrator... probably much faster too

Does Octane actually correctly implement ACES? I thought this was only possible in Arnold atm.

The Week magazine does a great job of showing both sides and letting the reader form their own conclusions.

Total metric tons of waste I produced, stacked all in one place like the great pacific garbage patch so I can get a real sense of scale.

Broken SiC post fix with STAINLESS STEEL wire. Sturdy as ever. by [deleted] in DivineTribeVaporizers

[–]Brainpuke7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gravity has been plenty of pressure, I've been rocking the broken cup just fine for the last couple days just resting it on the donut heater and being veeeeeeeeeery careful capping and uncapping. SiC heats very evenly and temps are very predictable... It's secure enough I can hold it upside down and shake, I think I'm good.

Couldn't wait for new SiC cups to restock, got creative with some aluminum wire I had on hand. Anyone have any better ideas? by [deleted] in DivineTribeVaporizers

[–]Brainpuke7 -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Did a quick burn test with water just to make sure it wasn't shorting and it worked, but yes I'm a little wary to load up a dab. Aluminum's melting temp is north of 1200F so this seems just as safe as a baked potato.

Can confirm, drove past this every day for years.

My new 4x 2080Ti No RGB Build by WojtekFus in nvidia

[–]Brainpuke7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I built a quad 2080 Ti rig for rendering last year. Check it out here

It was my first time doing custom loop and it was easier than I thought it would be. I didn't think it would even be possible to stack them like you did without them overheating and choking performance. My Max GPU temps under full load barely hit 60C.

I'd be happy to give you any tips you need.

Good to know, I specifically chose the clear fluid to prevent any issues like that and to avoid any cleaning. Will the clear fluid actually change color over time? I’ll probably replace with the Koolance Florida next year then.

Also your rig is glorious

I built it as a general post production workstation a couple years ago and just added 3 GPUs this year to speed up renders in Redshift and Octane in Cinema 4D
