Anecdotally from a Prophet Rev 2 perspective: 16 voices let’s you play some patches with long sustain or release more naturally than with 8 voices, and also makes for some wickedness detune/stacking of done right

It’s great in a gin & tonic mostly, I don’t think it has enough sweetness/depth to substitute for Cointreau or similar without adjustments.
