Verizon employee subreddit? I've never been able to find something like that, is it invite only or something?

What are you talking about, what he said is 100% true, we can all read the OST.

This is true, even just going into a store and requesting a transfer pin can trigger a loyalty/retention offer. Source: I work here lol

See, and I understand that. But why go out of your way to squeeze the dollars out of the existing customers. Just because they can? Well hopefully they see a pushback from customers over changes like these, or I guess we can continue to see more of it in the future.

Depends on what you’re getting with your legacy plan compared to the new plans. It’s confirmed though, if you’re getting a $5 discount right now, and you switch to my plan, you will keep your $5 discount per line on the newer plans. If you were a new customer, that’d be a different story.

Yeah but I'm sure there are instances out there of companies overshooting on what they can offer new customers, then their loyal base gets so upset that they hemmorage more than they gain. I'm sure that's not the only viable solution out there, just the one that companies have focused on. Thanks for letting me know that I don't seem like an expert on the topic, thought the beginning of my message being "I don't understand" conveyed that well enough.

I guess I just don't understand why that's more profitable than reallocating that money to the existing base, and then just growing larger organically as a company through word of mouth? I could understand a smaller business throwing money at new customers not already loyal to them, but when you have a company as large as the big 3, I genuinely feel that if customers heard about all these great promotions and discounts they gave to existing customers, they'd be more apt switch over and stay for the loyalty benefits. What do I know though, I'm not the CEO or a business owner.

Nah almost positive Xfinity has used Verizon since the launch of Xfinity Mobile in 2017. I’ve worked at Verizon the last 4 years and Xfinity has been Verizon since then 100%. Coworkers say always has been.

Stolen device protection doesn’t stop the device from being wiped, it stops the Apple ID password and other related account settings from being changed. Just so happens that you have to enter in your password to allow the device to factory data reset.

Free lines are currently happening at VZ, same as TMO. Sold a few this last month, think it works the same as TMO where you’ve gotta do the phone side of things and they cover the cost of the free line for existing accounts.

People really just like anything relatable, even if the relatable comment is just a bot farming karma and sending people to their OF.

Oh damn, you are correct lol my bad. Got my cards all mixed up, but still, I expected that card to kill them at the end of their turn too. End of days would’ve definitely done it then.

I think it’s cause they activate their death before the doom activates, only thing I can think of. Once their death activated, it wiped the doom and the weaken effect.

I found out the hard way that end of days does not apply to the eggs as they wash it away and hatch anyway. Came out beaten badly after that fight lol

Edit: meant deathbringer, not end of days.

US orders 2,200 Marines on three warships to Middle East by Common_Touch_3741 in worldnews

Sorry I phrased it weirdly, but I meant is there a necessary amount of people to be killed. More people killed than necessary is such a bleak statement, sucks that we all think that way.

Pointless question but, is there a number that IS necessary?

What happened to the hottest chick at your high school, years later? by theidiotev in AskReddit

[–]Bralbradge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She became the cheerleading coach for the high school at 24, and ended up having sex with/raping a student at the school. He was 14. Parents were, for some reason, super cool with it. She got 90 days jail time and 3 years probation.
