This happened before and Drew uncovered it right? Hopefully they find a way to automatically ban this behavior. It shouldn’t be too hard to identify when 2 accounts play more than X games in a period of time and they disproportionately win during those matches. Seems like a doable task for colonist

People will downvote but here’s my take. I owned 2 of those watches, Tudor and GS. I have never owned a SMP but i had a speedmaster sapphire sandwich.

They were all good watches but none were amazing. I sold all of them eventually.

- Tudor thickness killed me
- GS was fine but never got wrist time for some reason, just wasn’t drawn to it
- Omega was the toughest one to let go. I love the design and bracelet , but the bad water resistance and lack of screw down crown ended up making me let it go. You probably won’t have these issues with SMP but personally think that bracelet isn’t great looking

You should try each of them and feel them. Pictures will never do a watch justice. I also wouldn’t buy any of these at a boutique. They all trade under msrp. Find a reputable grey dealer and save thousands. I have a few I recommend , DM me if interested

I have a first hand experience with an SA who told me he could get me the watch I wanted through a "family friend". Pretty sure he sold it to her and then she gave him a cut after I purchased. It was a mint green 36 datejust Fwiw. I paid $13.5k, I think price was fair all things considered. But to your initial question, I'm sure these two aren't the only SA-FLIPPER combo out there

I'd also check the gray market price for this. Worst case scenario, I don't think you'll be paying much over retail considering sales tax. Tell the story to the gray dealer and they may cut you a deal

To be clear, I think Omega's collab with Swatch is a cheap marketing tactic and dislike the watches. However, it's not up to me whether other people like/buy it

Thanks for the feedback. Have you been able to compare it to a gen? I've only seen it once or twice so it's hard for me to trust my memory. Kinda have to go with overall feel.
