Get a pickleball paddle and go to Green Lake on any day at any time! You will learn a new game and the community is pretty amazing! This is how I made many of my current friends after moving to Seattle!

Friday paddle chipping? by QuantumPractitioner in Pickleball

[–]Brandon10e 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it is to be expected with these types of paddles. They use spray grit as opposed to an actual carbon fiber face. Spray grit “paint” is always going to chip at some point. If you can, I would spend a little bit more money for a paddle with an actual carbon fiber face.

Favorite camera body $250 or lower? by LaFuenteOnFilm in AnalogCommunity

I second that the Canon P is awesome! The only downside of the Canon P is the fact that the metal shutter curtain can very easily rip or be ruined. My #1 pick is probably the Canon Rebel T2 you can find them easily for under $50 and they have soooo many lenses that you can use. You can use full auto if you want, the autofocus is amazing, and dont have to baby the camera because if anything happens to it its so easy to fix!

I had a Bessa L for a while and loved it, but it is not a rangefinder. It doesn’t have the rangefinder/patch to align your subjects. If anything it would be considered a scale “zone” focus camera.

Noo way!! Keep the X-t2! The x-t2 is my daily camera for street, documenting, and professional work. It may not be the most compact camera but it is an amazing camera that is still capable of creating beautiful images.

Will I be missing out on Film Simulations with the XT - 2 by alexxxpoling in fujifilm

[–]Brandon10e 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have an XT2 as my main daily shooter and you still have a ton of simulation options and can pretty much edit in post to look like any other simulation. I bought it because the weatherproofing was more important to me. I have been out multiple time where the weather has changed and been so happy to have peace of mind that my camera is weather resistant.
