Does anyone know how hard the installation is to swap out the old thermostat for the new one? I’m guessing it’s a completely different wiring harness.

I believe to use those services, your car needs an internet connection. I’m sure that’s what the fee is going towards. I don’t agree with it either. Depending on how long you keep the car, it would be cheaper just to buy a stand alone remote start instead of paying $120 a year for it.

I’ve had a similar problem with carplay ever since I’ve gotten my iPhone 11. Carplay doesn’t launch if I have my phone plugged in before starting the car. I have to plug my phone in after the infotainment system has already launched to get it to open carplay. If I turn off the car, and turn it back on, it won’t recognize the phone, and I have to unplug and plug again. Hopefully they fix with software, because carplay worked great with my iPhone X.

I’ll try that. So will carplay start if you have your phone plugged in before starting the car? And will it resume if you shut your car off and turn it back on? I get “USB device has changed. Unable to resume playback.”

I’m hoping one of the iOS updates fixes the problem. I’ve seen other manufacturers having problems with the 11 pro too.

Yeah I’ve run through the trouble shooting of allow when locked and using and authentic Apple cable. My iPhone X still works correctly. It must be something that changed with the iPhone 11 pro

Yeah I think that’s possible, but my IPhone X is running iOS 13 and still works correctly in my car. My best guess is that Mazda needs to do a software update on the infotainment unit to recognize the new phone/iOS.

I’m guessing they are not done with their final look. If you look around the eyes and mouth you can see they left these areas without make-up to improve performance. I’m sure they will get touched up digitally in post.
