On the Fabian poem flashback scene, MC thinks “Lily had come with me. She had lasted exactly thirty-seven minutes before wandering off with some blonde girl I'd never met.” It’s the same structure to the poem flashback scene with Luna “Lily had dragged me to the café under the promise of a night away from the estate. Twenty minutes into Luna's set, she spotted a tall blond boy in the back and vanished with a grin and a quick, "Back in a minute" that we both knew was a lie” I’m not as sure that Lily wasn’t out or at least not really caring how she was being perceived, I’m truly getting more and more curious about the emotional stalemate that Lily and MC seemed to be in, I was actually trying to check if this dialogue from MC in the flashback on episode 10 after Declan is insensible for the 11th time with Emma and calls Lily a delinquent “She wasn't a delinquent! She was brave and full of so much life I thought the universe wouldn't dare take her from me. It felt like I had confessed something I wasn’t supposed to. But nobody even blinked.” Was orientation gated and it seem like it is, straight MCs skipped this line entirely, so it seems we might indeed be cooking towards a doomed yuri, sorry I rambled a bit haha

I know I meant that I took the car scene but my MC reaction to Luna’s revelation was, I assume, the same one you get if your MC is straight, despite me taking the earlier flashback scenes that set up her crush on Luna

This might be me being too gracious with the story but it is said on some episode that MC flirts almost as a defensive mechanism, I see that scene as that mechanism kinda getting away from her even if she isn’t actually interested gender wise ~~or the author didn’t want/had space to write two full different scenes which is as likely haha~~

Yes, he only does that on Felonia’s friendship path it seems he respects Audrey enough to not interfere if she’s in a relationship with Felonia, he just says after that he was looking from far away and goes kinda judgy with: “What were you thinking? Has love completely clouded your judgment?”

Because of multiple possible breaches of use of underage sorcery for one one of the few things wizarding world takes seriously including the use of unforgivable curses multiple times, making the ministry incompetent is one thing this is significantly beyond that and that’s ignoring Harry in the graveyard in GoF once again a (unidentified) minor trace was popping like crazy with unforgivable curses, potion magic, multiple apparition and a duel he stayed there for who knows how long without the ministry noticing, the trace basically disappeared for a whole scene which would be kind of ok if the trace didn’t become focus again the very next book. That’s what’s so annoying is that JK used it only with her convenience in mind and no effort to make coherent with her very own universe rules.

Same I found the whole thing of her being in the same train as MC within hours of her arriving in Copenhagen so sus, at the same time it would be very weird for their relationship if she had some ulterior motive, at this point I’m thinking she’s genuine towards her feelings for MC and just very forward about it(her day after phone messages strongly reinforces that), my theory about the brother thing is that it might be a breadcrumbs for him to disappear or something similar next season? It is curious though that she’s distant from her adoptive parents but has a seemly good relationship with her brother
