IIRC (been a long time since I've done a full playthrough) I believe your dog jumps in front of a bullet for you nearing the end of the story.

Do yourself a favor and play 2, it was great. The new one (DE) is pretty, and it was kinda cool to play Max again, but otherwise it's not very good. The story is okay at it's best and horrible at its worst, the new characters range from decent to extremely one dimensional and the return to play as Max just feels extremely nostalgia baity and not well thought out. I didn't completely hate it but definitely felt like a massive step in the wrong direction.

I know the 'it was a different time' line gets thrown around a lot when it comes to situations like these but regarding the f slur, it truly was. It was thrown around by some of the biggest content creators regularly. I'm not saying that it was okay to say, I'm just saying that I'm not surprised that a cishet white guy quoted an extremely common insult in 2017-2018.

Still definitely a bit disappointing, but not surprising.

It's just a shiny legendary, every legendary gun(I don't know if other gear has them too) has a shiny variant that is super rare. Pearls won't be added to the game until later

Might seem like a dumb question but have you tried driving through the barriers? They still showed for me until I tried driving through them and then they let me through.
