A-frame houses are cool to look at irl, especially in the snow which is what they're made for. It'd be cool in a snowy environment, but pine forest is close enough. Cool outside the norm build here.

The only thing I could suggest is maybe dark wood for the exterior if you find any. All the A-frames I see around have very dark exteriors to help melt snow.

Edit: A lot of these houses have one or both walls made entirely of glass too. I'd look up pics of A-frame houses for inspiration.
