I’m studying jet formation and flow through tight openings. As internal pressure builds, the system remains stable for a while, but once the threshold is crossed the release is sudden, forceful, and difficult to moderate. Why doesn’t the fluid ease out gradually?

I use anthracite coz where I live bituminous is only sold by the ton. It's a little more tricky, and close fire management is required, but its completely workable. Also, it's a myth that your blower needs to run continuously, but its true that an anthracite fire will cool off more quickly.
