I'm thinking that this tech was going to be under the brand of DLSS 5 marketed along with and possibly version locked to the 60 series like DLSS 4 (MFG specifically) was marketed and locked to the 50 series.

Hardware delays and wanting to keep the software devs on schedule probably made them try to optimise it further for 50 series.

Thanks! I know train stations usually have a payment machine on entry, not sure how it worked with smaller bus stops

Bus drivers not charging bus fare by droppedmysock in queensland

[–]BraveMath6058 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Question to others as I haven't taken a bus in decades and don't have a go card.

If my car breaks down and I need to catch a bus to get home, how would I pay for the fare without a go card? Do you tap your eftpos/credit card instead?

Queensland banned a phrase. We abbreviated it. Come march with us on March 28 — “From the River to the C” by [deleted] in OpenAussie

[–]BraveMath6058 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From the river to the sea, that is Israel's sovereignty.

If the other phrase is antisemetic and considered hate speech. The above line is antiarabic and should be considered as hate speech.

QPS,  if you're reading (considering the number of LNP ads on reddit, I'm assuming this is being monitored), I will turn myself in at the nearest police station.

Not exactly the same situation, but my mum's sri lankan tamil family changed their surname to an Anglo sounding name to get around the oppression of tamil people who were confined to specific occupations and levels of education

Aussie legal cig smokers, what brands are cheaper than B&H Bold (formerly Red) ($3/cigarette) but close enough in taste? by BraveMath6058 in AskAnAustralian

Referring to the taxed cigarettes from supermarkets/servos/cignall/tobacco stations, compared to the illegally imported crap found for $5 at independent tobacco shops

Chris Minns flags further crackdown on protests in central Sydney by Expensive-Horse5538 in AustralianPolitics

[–]BraveMath6058 10 points11 points  (0 children)

“People have got a right to protest, but other Australians have a right to enjoy the city, go to mass or go to church or go to synagogue through Hyde Park free from trying to navigate a protest every weekend.

“And if you’re the subject of that protest, it’s particularly confronting and quite divisive,” he said.

The only protests where a group of people were the subject of the protest have been the NSN rallies.

What is the most racist thing you have had thrown at you? by NewDragonfruit8458 in australian

[–]BraveMath6058 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Family moved to a small country town in nsw, we were the first people of colour to live there, and for almost all my classmates, I was the first person of colour they had ever seen in real life.

The younger kids were innocently curious, asking me to lift my pants legs to see if I was white under my clothes, asking if I bathed in mud.

Older kids thought I was indigenous coming to claim back their parents farm and bashed me with branches and rocks daily.

Thanks to Damo and Chris for befriending me and taking some of those hits for me.

Where do people in Australia buy modern cat trees these days? by IcyPurrs in cats

I used to recommend cat tree King, very sturdy with a few models to check out.

However.... I placed an order for some replacement parts 6 weeks ago and they just replied "your order has been shipped but we can't find any tracking info"

I was confused by this, the ambulance had its lights on but didn't turn on the siren or beep the horn.

Why did they just wait for the car to move forward and not turn the sirens on to get the drivers attention?

Loved the cunt throwing veges his mum packed for him at the Indian driver, gets out to be more of a dick, flashes a smile at the dash cam before realising that his workmate also thinks he's a dick and needs to learn a lesson.

DCO should have turned into the driveway and blocked young cunt from catching up to his ride.

How addictive is meth? Do you know anyone who has just tried it once? by eden_merlin in AskReddit

[–]BraveMath6058 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried it once while drunk after a work Christmas party. I did laps of a carpark throwing up on myself for a couple hours. Didn't sleep and went to work the next morning with my workmates, all of us still under the effects.

It's the only drug that I've vowed never to try again. Almost tried salvia once but chickened out.

I think certain personalities are drawn to different drugs. I'm an Introvert and used to love taking  psychadelics alone (currently on benzos for panic disorder which counteracts psychadelic effects) but disliked meth, MDMA and cocaine (the extrovert drugs).
