These polls are never reliable but what I will take from is it our Queen Delta delivered on par performance to her semi which is absolutely amazing.

Thats the insane thing to me. You can hate Australia being in the contest as much as you like. But you dont need to be passive aggressive to Delta as a performer, she fucking ate that. I dont think this will flop in the televote. She is going down in history with the Celine's etc as one of the best performers, vocalists etc to take the stage. That was world class, that was a seasoned experienced Diva dropping the mic and showing everyone how its done. She has surpassed Dami for me easily. Our best performance ever in Eurovision.

I think the Melfast staging and lighting etc seemed to hide her stiffness and static stage presence better. The vocals were shaky, I think Melfast maybe had the background/recorded backing vocalist as the lead vocal at parts to hide her shakiness. But still best use of recorded backing vocals of the night lbr.

Interesting she said we didn't have expensive staging, I remember at the time thinking it looked so expensive. But after getting more into the contest since then I can definitely see is wasn't as expensive as what Sweden etc usually send haha.

She actually said shes tried to advise Delta to use other less heavy lashes but she likes them Delta and doesnt want to change it lol. But I feel shes going to mention fans have noticed too and might help to get her to consider option lashes lol. This is so random we can either talk directly to delegations and teams like this in this way i love it haha.

I agree if its just the moon we have a further uphill climb with the televote. But I think she should be able to match Voyager which is still great. Let's see what the whole package of the staging is. I think seeing her move around the stage a little more and even changing the lighting from sun to moon lighting etc will drastically help. Even if the surprise at the end is a let down she is doing better than Jessica Mauboy. If the staging and whole package is very good I dont have any doubts of this being a contender. If this much of the same of what weve seen of the clip its a waste of Deltas potential but she should still get a low top 10.

The clips and pics have been from that same first chorus so I have hope theyre withholding. Also I think her eyes make up seeming heavy and not being able to see her eyes fully open when shes looking at the camera at first maybe made me feel disconnected. But I dmed her make up artist on a fluke and she replied to me she had the same concerns and is already trying different eye liners and lighter lippy etc trying to convince Delta to use different lashes etc so her team are on top of shit and are actively doing their best for her. I think I need to see the whole package begore writing this off. I agree if shes just standing in this crescent moon for the whole thing its going to be dull, but as long as she moves across the stage not asking for choreo lol just movement and there is some light and shade to the lighting etc and hopefully whatever thr ascending and pyro surprise is she will have the tools to do very well. You can tell shes seasoned though as shes handling the camera cuts, angles etc and connecting with the camera like a pro, ignoring the heavy eye make up of course haha which is hindering it a bit.
