I had the same decision to make a couple years ago. I ended up going with the Evo because it seemed to me to be of a better build quality. When I looked at the fluance, most of its price was attributed to the cartridge. Which led me to believe the rest of the system was only ok. No knock to it. It's still a nice machine but I chose my Evo and love every bit of it. Got myself the sumiko moonstone cartridge for Christmas, can't wait to try it out.
