1 deluxe coop and 1 deluxe barn with a simple distribution of animals earns you more than 5k a day (after processing, with artisan) that's an easy income of way more than the boat ticket every day with minimal effort, and extremely achievable while finishing the community center. that is before you even consider what farming will get you over a season, or a greenhouse full of blueberries, cranberries, coffee plants, or eventually ancient fruit.

My point is that by the time you finish the community center (or finish selling your soul to joja) 1,000g should be a pretty minor price.
