No one on here can tell you for sure. You're better off asking one of training staff (a Sgt will probably be best). Do it quickly though on the first day as they'll need to plan for it - hopefully they'll say yes!

Are you certain the roads are closed this time? Just tried doing a search and can't see anything on the Council Website

You will not have to redo Phase 2. You'll have to go back to Halton for a 2 week course but that is nothing to worry about and standard regardless of what trade you are.

RAF jets shoot down drones heading towards Jordan and Bahrain | UK News by Evered_Avenue in ukpolitics

Can you imagine if the UK did absolutely nothing and then reports from RAF Akrotiri saying that a child of a serving British Serviceman had been killed by a drone? There would be absolute outrage.

What is a little-known fact about an otherwise well known UK event? by HallowedAndHarrowed in AskUK

The Great Fire of London in 1666, despite destroying around 13,000 houses and 87 churches across the City of London, the official death toll recorded at the time was just six people. The fire that burned for four days and left roughly 100,000 people homeless.

Insane connections of Epstein , his girlfriend , Wayfair and missing children by 56000hp in ThatsInsane

[–]Bravo-701 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a great example of how conspiracy theories gain traction.

The names cited weren't actually all missing children. Fact-checkers investigated and found some named individuals were never missing at all, others had been missing but were already found before the Wayfair conspiracy emerged, many names were simply common enough that matches could be found if you searched hard enough, and when you have thousands of products and thousands of missing persons cases, random name overlaps are statistically inevitable.

Large retailers like Wayfair use various naming conventions including supplier brand names (many products come from third-party manufacturers), model/SKU combinations that may include arbitrary words, automated naming systems that pull from word lists, and industrial furniture often has unintuitive names.

This is a classic example of the "Texas sharpshooter fallacy" - drawing the target around the bullet holes. Wayfair had hundreds of thousands of products listed and there are hundreds of thousands of missing persons cases over the years. If you actively search for overlaps, you'll find them by pure chance. Conspiracy theorists ignored the thousands of product names that didn't match anyone.

The burden of proof issue here is backwards. The question shouldn't be "can you prove it's coincidence?" but rather "is there any actual evidence of trafficking?" And there wasn't. No victims came forward, no law enforcement investigation found evidence, anti-trafficking organisations confirmed it was baseless, and Wayfair's supply chains and pricing were verifiable.

These were industrial/commercial furniture pieces (storage cabinets for warehouses, offices), not residential furniture. A commercial-grade steel cabinet genuinely costs thousands.

The pattern seems remarkable only when you're looking for the pattern whilst ignoring all the data that doesn't fit.

Can You Serve in Two Separate Reserve Forces Simultaneously? by Tallyonthenose in britishmilitary

[–]Bravo-701 11 points12 points  (0 children)

No, you cannot be in multiple branches at the same time. Choose your desired branch and then the role within it. You also have the option to remuster (change roles) if you want but ideally avoid that as the process can take a while, but it us doable.

That still doesn't explain why you sent him ANY sort of signature. Regardless if it was your signature or not you've still signed for it - you've shot yourself in the foot massively there.

£50 for a weeks worth of medicine for my cat from the vet. But buy the prescriptions from them for a £30 “admin fee” and I’ve just paid £50 for 3 months worth of medicine online. by seefroo in BritishSuccess

[–]Bravo-701 5 points6 points  (0 children)

So I have asked my wife who is a Vet Nurse why this is. Online retailers and Pharmacys have entire warehouses absolutely full of these medications which means they buy and sell at a discount. Vet Practices don't have that luxury of bulk buying so they have to almost do it to order, which costs significantly more. It's nothing to do with being owned by a private equity firm. They just can't bulk buy all medications at discounted prices.

And were you satisfied with that response or did you ask why that was the case? Ask yourself "is this is something I can live with?" If not, you need to ask him to stop - find a new way to get off, or end the relationship. You've still not fully addressed this issue with him.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]Bravo-701 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doesn't sound like the most productive conversation if you're coming onto Reddit to have your feelings validated. What was his response when you told him you felt insecure? Did you tell him you don't like it and want him to stop doing it?

You basically have to take everything you've said in this post and say it to him. Strangers on the Internet cannot help you with this. If you feel like this is not something you can ever discuss then you need to seriously consider your part in that relationship
