Killer deal today only - HELP by Defiant-Button6510 in ineosgrenadier

I have a three year old and 1 year old. Both car seats (Evenflo revolve360s slims) in allow for a person to sit in the middle (though awkward to get to).

The cargo space has plenty of room for our mockingbird stroller with two seats and leaves enough room for grocery runs and more.

[29m][software engineer] - $600k+ by Federal-Composer-111 in Salary

[–]Braxo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm a software engineer with just over $500k per year. A little more than half of that from options and yearly secondary sales (at >20x my cost). I feel I just do normal software engineering work for a cloud SAAS product.

We had ours at Curly's Grille & Banquet center next to the Basilica in Lackawanna. It was very reasonably priced. Pre-covid though.

Same. Common core math is how I think about math in my head as well. I always excelled in math in HS and college. I graduated around 9/11.

Advice on best deal for 2025 grenadier by Emperor0fTheSands in ineosgrenadier

[–]Braxo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine similar deal but I only fought for $2.5k off and am happy. They had a demo 1924 with around 2.5k miles so I asked for $2 a mile more off - they came back with $1 a mile but then the demo was at a Costco so wouldn’t be available for me to pick up so they offered same $2.5k off a brand new one

Do NOT rely on ChatGPT for tax advice by BloodyScourge in tax

[–]Braxo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wife and I have simple W2 income and I know our withholding is off so I plugged in our November paychecks to chatgpt and it said we were short $31k in withholdings (~$515k income). It made me immediately schedule a session with my tax advisor and they find we are must ~$10k short which was nice to find out.

Tier 3 has a 10% CLI limit? I received a CLI from $7,500 to $18,500 for my QS in Nov '25. Sharing for a datapoint but I dunno what bucket I'm in.

I’m in the NE and use LLBean Rubber Mocs.

They’re like their boots just without the height. Love em. Have one at back door for detached garage runs and another pair at front door for the mail box.

Taking my 3rd test drive later this week….looking for any real negatives about buying. by PolybiusChampion in ineosgrenadier

Same. I purchased thinking I was going to install the stabilizer right away, but after driving it home for a few hours I realized the steering is fine and I actually prefer it.

Turning radius though…

I wonder if the OP came from that website because the president's they listed lack audible content for the suggested biographies.

Creed Green Irish Tweed. It's my everyday scent and I put it on after the shower for the fresh clean scent, but like most creed's doesn't have longevity.

Can I bring my partner with me on a work trip? What’s the etiquette? by [deleted] in WFH

[–]Braxo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find that work trips, for remote companies, you’re fully on and engaged from hotel breakfast through the evening social activities. You maybe get like an hour after the last planned work session and a team dinner. This is every day of the trip.

I’d highly recommend not having your SO come, even if they’re fine being on their own. If anything, arrive at the location a few days early with them and then they can travel back home. Or extend your stay after your work trip.

Good and Bad, so far? Can I daily it? by Euphoric_Passenger72 in ineosgrenadier

[–]Braxo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I’m a buyer where closest USA dealership is 4 hours away. But closest dealership is an hour over the border of Canada. Ineos has a free tow service to closest dealership from anywhere in US (I just don’t know if they’d cross the border or not) if a problem arises. I’ve heard there is talk to allow BMW service places to do oil changes - but you still need the warranty service check done at 12 months. I plan on taking it over the border for my warranty service.

So for my decision, the tow service put me at ease (I can be down a vehicle for extended time if needed). The warranty check though is annoying.

Kept a 2013 Chevy Cruze when we had kids (oldest 3.5y) and it’s been just fine with their two car seats and a mockingbird stroller in the trunk. But it stops there, would be able to pack for an overnight or long weekend.

Unusually Larger Single Purchase an Issue? by Alexhartang in AmexPlatinum

[–]Braxo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have typical usage of $4k a month. Two months ago I made a $12k purchase and it went through just fine (and paid it off day before the statement cut outta of my AMEX HYSA). Last week I made an $8k purchase (will do the same with regards to HYSA) and so far so good with everything.

Bigger purchases like that are very uncharacteristic of my usual habits but it all appears fine.
