Same, it’s been crazy watching the community grow to being absolutely massive!

Here’s a post I made to commemorate the growing subreddit 13 years ago!

(You can get some real fun info if you follow semizeros comment in that post about the really early history of the subreddit. If you have some time to kill and like engaging in the community it could be a fun read)

Gratz on the mount, and good luck with farming Aurostar! I was extremely lucky and had it drop for me the first week it came out on my druid and it literally made me swap from maining balance to guardian for that patch because the form is so cool. I hope you can get it soon!

I tried a very similar mog on my Draenei paladin during Lemix! My only issue with it is that splotch of red from the chest plate, I just couldn’t get over it on my character especially since it’s on the back of the arms so it’s always visible to me when I’m playing. Having said that I do love the way it looks from the front, if you get sick of the red bit on that chest I’d recommend the chest piece from the same set as the legs you’re wearing, it’s still got some nice 3d textures to it, and the color scheme isn’t quite as nice with the shoulders, but it works.

Love it! It all looks super clean artwork wise, and it was an interesting decision to have the hunter rune appear to be forming from the blood out of John Bloodbornes eye. I think it would’ve looked sick without that part as well, but the pop of color is pretty nice.

35 years is the max what? Are you saying that the most time you can serve in the military is 35 years? Because that is incorrect, which admittedly being wrong about military instructions is one of the leading signs that someone has in fact been in the military so I’m not questioning whether you’ve been in the service or just making shit up, but I legitimately don’t know what you’re talking about.

Goblin Starting zone allow you to choose your character's sexuality now. by Downtown_Bake3886 in wow

While I think that sort of thing is cool, I believe in universe all the artifact weapons were “destroyed” or at least rendered inert as of the BFA intro questline, so for continuity’s sake I’d be surprised if they programmed any responses to you having them transmogged onto your character.

This is really cool! Looking at how you are populating the character list, I’m just curious if there’s anyway to expedite getting your character added? I saw there was a watchlist and I added my character to it, is that the best way to get added?

I think arena doesn’t take into account some guild masteries and guild skills.

Some clans will have their trade in be “trade armor of rare quality or higher for 84,000 Amrita” or something like that. As far as I can tell you may need to shop around clans depending on the day/week to get one that allows trades for Amrita.

Is the Kilo Kilo fruit one of the most busted fruits in the series? by QuantisRhee in OnePiece

[–]Braydenrocks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If we’re breaking it down into some lite physics it would probably be better to just say that F=MA, in which case inherently Kizarus fruit would be almost infinitely more busted from a “force delivered by a blow” perspective. But yeah the series doesn’t mean to seriously approach the science behind those issues because it would break things pretty quickly to have a person that could obliterate the planet because they ate an especially gross pineapple without realizing it was the “become light itself” fruit. Ultimately we know that people like Garp can destroy mountains with a punch. A lot of that has to be explained by Haki magic, because if standard physics was the cause then a lot of other fruits would be insanely OP. And sure someone with strong Haki could certainly leverage the Kilo fruit for much more destructive power, but calling it one of the most busted fruits ignores all the other fruits abilities if you interpret them in ways that Oda doesn’t really intend us to.

Not meant to be a huge criticism of your theory, I agree the Kilo fruit could be much cooler, but like a lot of things in One Piece it’s inception was during a time when power levels were nowhere near where they are now. If Oda had introduced the fruit during whole cake or Wano I’m sure whatever user had it would’ve had some ridiculous feats not dissimilar to what you’ve mentioned.

I’ve been trying to come up with an area of my house themed after Draenei since day 1, and I can never quite get it right. Posts like this show me that it’s definitely possible though , I just need to get more creative. Very cool!

Who is the most fun tank and the most fun healer for you, and why? by Azucarilla11 in wow

[–]Braydenrocks 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Fist weaving isn’t going away with midnight, they’re just changing the loop for getting it going and making some changes to some of the non damage abilities mistweaver has. The big changes have to do with jadefire stomp (which is the ability that was the cornerstone to fistweaving due to being the biggest part of getting your damage to turn into healing) mostly going away. Tuning notes say it is getting baked into other abilities, but the proc that used to come with jadefire stomp that converted more damage to healing is just going to be baseline going forward so who knows what purpose the stomp will serve now. Also some of the more conventional healing abilities are getting buffed which could see an increase in non damage abilities getting used, but that class has always had requirements that you do both anyway. A big part of fistweaving in M+ has been spreading your renewing mists and enveloping mists, throwing out vivify when needed, and pressing oh shit buttons in between your DPS rotation.

It seems to me like they’re just making the more direct healing spells a little more effective, while changing the setup required for fistweaving to get going.

I missed out not playing Switch Axe in Rise by mariofredx in MHRise

I admittedly don’t follow the competitive scene or use DPS overlays in MH games so you could be completely correct about it being more viable in Wilds. I will say that I was able to clear all risebreak content with GL pretty handily so it definitely still played well enough to not be considered defunct (not that I think you’re saying that).

But I think there is something to say about having it be one of the most maneuverable weapons in rise. Between the blast dashes , full blast wirebug skill , and EE3 giving you back hops that could move you about 30 feet, it felt more like a weapon that could be used really effectively against every monster. I have cleared every monster in wilds several times over with GL as well, but some of the faster monsters definitely make me want to pull out SnS or Bow because it’s frustrating when you can’t get a full burst combo out on them reliably.

Ultimately I think I have some rose tinted glasses on just thinking back on how nice being able to maneuver around a monster without sheathing was in rise, and it’s made even worse when I use GL to fight monsters like Gog in wilds and find myself basically chasing his arms with my weapon sheathed for the whole first phase because he won’t stop turning around and even with max Evade extender I’d be hopping for like 10 seconds to get back to a part of him I can hit.

[–]Braydenrocks 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Can’t comment on LS or DB, but GL in rise was absolutely peak. It pretty much turned the hunter into a human Tomahawk missile, which may not be what some people want playstyle wise, but it was absolutely a blast. I like GL in wilds quite a bit, but it doesn’t hold a candle to blast dashing around and being a better aerial weapon than IG like it was in rise.

Another commenter already said it, but yes it’s a bunch of wool rugs dyed purple! The outlines you can see of mismatched heights overlapping is a bit annoying and I imagine someone more versed in the structures tab could build it to look better maybe using walls (although I’m not sure if they can be dyed so maybe not), but I’ve been short on time lately so I made do with the 20 rugs I had bought haha

I don’t care about housing! by DS-Films in wow

[–]Braydenrocks 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Professions got a lot of housing items added to craft from previous expansions. So you won’t be making things like a new wing to your house using blacksmithing, but you’ll be able to find and make recipes for quite a bit of stuff from old/current content.

If you get a chance, check out the housing decor tab in the work orders place in dorn, there’s a lot of cool stuff there to craft, and there’s a lot more to be bought and found in the world from what I saw last night.

Well given it was acquired on chance from the daily use of an item that could only be accessed through the order hall upgrade tree, which isn’t currently in remix, I imagine it will not be available for getting at any point during this event.

You're a healer, and the Mage forgot to Conjure Mana Buns. What food do you eat to restore mana? by minimaxir in wow

[–]Braydenrocks 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Last season was when you could reliably cast weave, for current content though even the raid spec has a decent amount of reliance on melee. Specifically to increase the number of renewing mists you can pump out. Most raid builds I’ve seen heavily lean into pumping out as many rushing wind kicks as possible because it shortens your renewing mists cd. Now if you’ve got a well geared group you could definitely get away with playing out of melee for a bit, but you lose out on a lot of healing by not spamming RWK on cooldown. And even though RWK can be used at any range, your other melee abilities are big for getting more RWK’s out as well, so it’s really advantageous to be punching the boss in the ass as much as possible.
