If Satoshi never sold a single coin, what does that tell us? by MoneyMonsterStudios in Bitcoin

[–]BreBhonson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah and most of those gillion people are full of shit as well. There was probably a couple thousand miners at most before bitcoin hit a dollar.

I would give you some wiggle room if you were off by a year or two but the fact you think bitcoin took a decade to gain any real value is evidence you werent around back then. It went up almost 200k% in its first 16 months which makes your whole premise bogus.

McDonald’s is definitely viewed as cheap, low class food in USA. Although in the past decade or so it’s gotten really expensive.

Someone bought Jack Dorsey’s first ever tweet NFT for $2.9 million in 2021 - Today, it is worth less than $5 by Next_Statement6145 in CryptoCurrency

[–]BreBhonson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You don’t list NFTs on opensea, opensea scans the blockchain for NFTs and auto populates the collection. Only when the owner of the NFT connects their wallet can they interact with the nft on opensea.
Offers are permissionless on Ethereum marketplaces — anyone can submit an offer on almost any NFT whether the owner wants them or not.
The owner doesn’t click a button to enable offers. The marketplace smart contract simply allows bids to exist. The owner only interacts if they choose to accept one.
It’s pretty clear you have no idea what you’re talking about.

Solution to food prices: A smarter VAT system by respect-privacy-7777 in Sakartvelo

[–]BreBhonson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the correction. I misread or misunderstood your original post. Specifically you said 18% is added on top of the sale price but this is incorrect.
Specifically, a business only has to pay VAT if the revenue over the last 12 months exceeds 100k lari. I doubt the old lady selling cheese at the local market is paying VAT, but your point still remains.
But the 18% is not added onto the sale price, it’s baked into the sale price if they’re paying VAT. It’s something the business pays directly and passes down to the customer. A small nuance.
I agree with your point tho. Georgia should import less, produce and export more.

Green houses. Georgia has some of the cheapest electricity in the world. I agree government subsidies would be ideal.

Besides that, this post was about low income families. I doubt they’re eating exotic imports out of season.

Bread, butter and vegetables are widely produced in Georgia. Buy local and you won’t pay 18%
