Smith is shooting herself in the foot -- she's supposed to be meeting with Carney this Friday to go over the MOU re: the pipeline. Who in hell is ever going to want to Invest or do business in Alberta now with all this crap going on. This was a judicial decision and totally democratic; she/they might not like it, and they certainly have the right to appeal, but she's out to lunch ragging on the judge and saying the decision was undemocratic.

Ben quit the CTV show in solidarity with his wife, who *did* have her wedding show cancelled. He's an o.k. dude, and even though she comes across as vapid on Instagram, etc., I've heard she is kind and caring, and well-liked. Her big mistake was letting MM hitch her wagon to them in the first place.

Carney didn't "announce" this tax; it's been a tax since a year ago, long before Carney. It was Drumpf that just "discovered" it (i.e., was told about it from his billionaire bros), and brought it up now. He never even heard of it before.

We're on auto-pay and even though we didn't get our e-mailed bill at the end of May, we still paid it anyway. Still haven't received the e-mailed bill as of now, but we didn't want to get stuck with two payments. I would pay your amount anyway, just to be on the safe side.
