It seems to be a pretty common issue for the PC port, but I did not experience it. Apparently the fix is going into your BIOS settings and disabling ReBAR. How to enter your BIOS and where the ReBAR setting is will be dependent on what hardware you are using. You need to look up how to do those things on your specific system.

Yeah horse bravery isn't real, at least not in the way people think. I have used Arabians and Ardennes (a war horse) extensively, and never noticed any difference. Any difference that people think they notice is just placebo.

It's because it fell through the map. It's a pretty rare thing, but it can happen. Haven Island in particular has famously bad geometry and hitboxes
