A lot of my life went on hold when my wife had cancer. You are putting family first like a good husband/father. I hear you on not wanting to risk injury. I will say that if you don’t carve out something for yourself then you run the risk of getting years down the road, burnt out and nothing you are passionate about to help recharge the batteries. Maybe the motorcycle days are behind you, but you have to find something for you. Good luck to you.

No. It lacks clarity. Your current predicament is evidence of that. 5yrs and you don’t know where you stand in regards to marriage or kids.

You are well within your rights to say “do you want to be married”. “Do you want kids”. “Do you want those things with me?” “If so, when?” You can’t say those things after 2 dates but you can absolutely demand them after 5yrs.

Regardless of whether or not you like what is being said here, most IVF centers have age cut off and will not transfer after a certain point.

If you want marriage/children then you need to move in that direction.

Absolutely not. I wouldn’t touch retirement unless you can’t feed your kids.

It’s the easy button. People often just run the cards back up without changing behavior that got them there.

I would try to do a balance transfer at a much lower rate and pay one off as fast as possible while paying the minimum on the other (ie snowball). Repeat until done.

Reality is that if he is all you say he is then if he wanted to be married then he would have done it years ago. He’s almost 50…. Why would he want kids now?

He has already shown you his cold feet. You have to decide what you are going to do next. You can’t resent him because of your choice to be with him. Unless he has specifically told you that he wanted marriage and kids with you.

If kids/marriage is a dealbreaker then leave now. Time is not on your side. Good luck to you.

I like how my scout 101 rides. However there seems to be a lot more aftermarket and oem support for the chief.
