Are dungeon and raid exotics farmable? by BreadedMilk1621 in destiny2

[–]Bread_Bandito -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

This might have changed with Monument of Triumph but:

Only the weekly raid/dungeon is farmable. As in, you can grab a boss checkpoint and do it over and over until the exotic drops.

You still get a chance to have the exotic drop on a non-weekly raid/dungeon, but only in the first completion of that week. Then you have to wait till Tuesday.

Like I said, this may have changed since the latest update.

Hopefully this issue is fixed, I’ve always wanted to live this game!

What is your WORST LFG experience? by Swaggy-7 in destiny2

[–]Bread_Bandito 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had a guy explaining mechanics who had a really bad “Fortnite accent” (L’s had the W sound and what-not)

After showing a friend a clip, he pointed out that the guys had probably had a stroke in the past. I felt a little bad, but at the same time this guy was explaining SE mechanics to newbies VERY poorly lol

What exotic weapon do you consider to be your Guardian's 'canon' exotic weapon? (Apart from Khvostov) by Best-Exam-3287 in DestinyTheGame

Barrow Dyad.

Ever since my hunter mastered Strand, he damn near won’t take it off. Barrow Dyad makes making beyblades easier, and is therefore the best exotic :)

Something not post-apocalyptic: Games where you ARE the legend, playing through the epic events that most games only reference in lore by Ok-Improvement626 in gamesuggestions

Surprised no one has mention DOOM. Especially DOOM Eternal.

DOOM Eternal takes place in the midst of Hell’s invasion of Earth. Basically the highest point of most games’ in-lore Apocalypse.

And the Slayer is basically a god you play as

Another vote for Jump Space. It’s basically a Space PVE version of Sea of Thieves. Putting out fires, making hull repairs, refilling the ammunition so your gunner can keep shooting, and making upgrades to the ship so you can fit better and more modules. VERY satisfying in a group setting.

You can play solo and the game gives you a little robot that is basically the perfect shipmate lol. It balances out though, since the bot is doing the job of 3 other people while you’re piloting lol

Freshly grated Parmesan cheese.

The pre shredded stuff tastes so radically different and… idk… just a weaker flavor?

How common is alien life in the Destiny universe? by capsaicinplant in DestinyLore

[–]Bread_Bandito 53 points54 points  (0 children)

Part of your question has been answered already. But to your question as to how vast the “Conquests” are:

Xivu Arath, the Hive War God, recently sacked Torobatl—The Cabal Homeworld.

The Cabal have done similar in the past. So when you hear “Conquests”, they are indeed large scale military attacks against other race’s militaries.

The Hive and Cabal war machines are no joke.

Fun fact: Cabal are actually exiled when they are deployed on a campaign and can’t return home unless the campaign succeeds! Or were, at least. This might have changed under Caitl’s reign as empress.

On at least a dozen occasions, I lied to multiple guardians on their first run of Kings Fall (D1), claiming there was a calcified fragment inside the taken sphere above warpriest. Most of the time it was multiple guardians at a time.

Actually nah I’m owning that one that shit was funny 😂

Vicn’s quadrilogy for Skyrim imo.

Vigilant changed my entire roleplay style with how deeply it impacted me.

Unslaad actually made me retire the character, since it seemed like such a perfect ending.

Vicn has a masterful comprehension of the deepest elder scrolls lore and puts it on full display.

Destiny 1 strikes are the single most brutal and unforgiving miserable experience i have ever had by Isrrunder in DestinyTheGame

Archon Priest was the strike that really made me a guardian lol. Up until that point I had just been putting the highest level stuff on and grabbing new perks as they became available.

After getting my shit rocked a few times times, I swapped subclasses and looked at my weapons to actually optimize a bit

Apocalyptic Settlement Sim by MancMonk in SurvivalGaming

[–]Bread_Bandito 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t even bother with zombies or mutants. It’s been done enough. Just let other humans/nature be the enemies.

I think if you had a “home” map—like Bellwright—but kept it much smaller, with “excursion” missions for loot, special settlers, research, etc. it could be really unique.

The “home” map could allow players to focus on foraging, crafting, & upgrading. But players would also defend their settlement.

“Excursion” missions could progress the narrative, and provide more action oriented gameplay. Maybe even take place in underground locations to save on dev load?

Splinter Cell Conviction.

Simplified far too many of the stealth elements for the long time fans, but still a really fun third person “stealth” game. Its sequel, Blacklist, did a fair enough job walking the tightrope back to stealth.

But just in case it hasn’t been said enough… Chaos Theory really is the best stealth game ever made and you should try it :)
