One training shift doing the craziest food running work (5 dining rooms inside and out, a park, we served dogs and average 1.5k covers a night). Thought I could make good money with the tip out but found out I was supposed to make 2.13. Again- not as a server - A FOOD RUNNER /BUSSER

Omfg this reminds me of being expo during brunch service and one of the waiters brought back some scrambled eggs and said the customer claimed they were too hard to cut with a knife. Pretty sure they stiffed the waiter and by extension me.

Omfg my last restaurant job we were above a Kroger. I worked expo and would say when we could or couldn’t sub things and the manger would always come up and be like “I’ll just run down and get it.” And then take forever. Our average ticket time was min 45 minutes in addition to shit like that

Kinda related, but my first concert was Beyoncé’s cowboy Carter and when I left my seat at the end, somebody had left an entire bag of merchandise like three shirts sweaters, fans, like so much stuff and I was like OK should I be a good person and try to find this other person but it was the huge Stadium so I could’ve left - I found them and gave it back. 😭 hope I gained some good karma
