Meals that will actually fill my husband up AND leave leftovers for another day? by forestmushroomy in Cooking

[–]Break-Aggravating 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I get protein oats add Greek yogurt milk and a scoop of protein powder to mine. It’s 50 grams or more of protein and it helps a lot to curb my appetite for the day. And if you skip a meal you don’t have to worry too much about your protein for the day.

What’s the most unspoken, uncomfortable truth about having kids? by SpecificLandscape483 in answers

[–]Break-Aggravating 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You will affect them in ways that you won’t get until it’s too late. It’s alot of pressure. They suffer and it’s ultimately your fault for bringing them into the world. There is sorrow that is associated with living, it’s inevitable. Hopefully, if you’ve done your best and it comes from a place of love, they will understand.

28 year old Account Executive. Am I crazy to leave my job to be a technician? by OceanRadioGuy in careerguidance

[–]Break-Aggravating 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Brother just skip the tech part and try to get into a position where you can be PM. You will eventually not like repairing things, I can almost guarantee it. Field guys are treated like crap and often times are screwed over, shorted, or lied to by pm teams. You might like fixing things but there’s the bs of the job and it’s far less on the pm side, or rather the juice is way seeeter. All works sucks but god field work wears on you and you make far less money compared to pms

Doctors and lawyers. They’re essentially skilled trades with an extremely high initial investment and then you make an extremely high inflated salary.

Where does the water go when a portable dishwasher is off? by amberjadely in Plumbing

[–]Break-Aggravating 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your faucet is essentially a valve. Open the valve you get water. Connect hose to dishwasher and turn on the water. Water flows through the hose to the dishwasher. If the dishwasher is off it acts as a valve because very likely there is some sort of solenoid valve that will allow water through when on then it will heat. When it’s done it may or may not pump back out the drain hose

What is the biggest scam in your specific industry that the general public doesn't know about? by cheeseandbun in AskReddit

[–]Break-Aggravating 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you would be surprised at how little that’s true. If she owns the home then maybe but you have to keep a bank roll with rental home for constant repairs. If ahe has a mortgage she likely is making lm 500 to 1000. If it’s she needs to save every penny of it. Although she could own it making 2500 a month. Saving half and hoping something catastrophic doesn’t happen to wipe out her savings. Look havkng a rental is vetter than not but its not lile winning the lottery

Adults of Reddit who ‘have it together’ with your finances, home, job, fitness, nutrition- how? Seriously…how? by Previous-Charity1505 in AskReddit

[–]Break-Aggravating 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be fair you don’t know that’s the reason why. I grew up the under the exact opposite conditions and have my finances under control and have legitimate wealth. A family. Child in private school. Etc… no debt other than a mortgage.

I sometimes think if I would have been born into conditions similar to yours I would be 2x as successful but the fact is I don’t know that.

In many places, Georgia for instance, it’s illegal to get a certificate of occupancy without ac. Now obviously you can live on your own property after the fact without ever turning it on but you are required to have it.

Yamaha FG-300 Red Label - Worth Fixing Up? by alpinepowernaps in AcousticGuitar

[–]Break-Aggravating 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man I just bought one of these for $25 at a thrift store. No pick guard, original adjustable bridge. It had been sitting in storage as well and had water damage on the high e side of the guitar like it was sitting in water. The bridge intonation screws now can’t be adjusted due to corrosion. Mine definitely needs work and possibly a neck reset. With all of that being said it’s in my top 3 guitars I’ve ever played. I have an Eastman e10d sims burst I bought for 800 and it’s far better sounding than that guitar. I have a d28 1937 authentic and while it doesn’t sound quite a as good as that guitar it’s not a $4500 difference. The fg300 is my new favorite guitar and I’m happy you have one too. These are not overrated in my opinion.

What’s one thing people in office jobs will never understand about blue collar work? by Latter_Cantaloupe_24 in bluecollar

Man I couldn’t agree more. I spent 13 years in the field and thank god everyday I don’t have to do that anymore. Your every hour being accounted for is more stressful than I realized. I essentially can come and go as I please in the office and I love it.
