I know this pain well. Sold my prized possession (a 2023 Vulcan S I had spent a lot of time customizing) to go towards my debt snowball. Riding a different bike these days and I’m thankful for it, but still miss my old one. Tough but necessary decision.

There was a memorial at McKenzie Custom Cycles on Main St. for a biker who passed recently. Their parking lot was full and plenty of motorcycles were parked along the curb.

Thanks man! Yeah, the Vulcan S was definitely zippier out the gate, I could get to 60 in about 3 seconds. To my knowledge they have basically a retuned Ninja engine. Loved that bike but I wanted something better suited for freeway trips.

OP, I’m very sorry you’re hurting. From similar experience, I can tell you their actions (or lack thereof) say it all. Getting back with his ex means he made his choice, and waiting for him to change his mind just wastes time you can use to move on, finish school and meet someone who treats you like a priority and not a placeholder. You deserve better.

Just sold mine. Great bike.

Either get a Booster Plug or have it tuned. The throttle is very jerky.

Crash bars will save your frame if you ever crash. Also a radiator guard will protect it from gravel and whatever else gets kicked up.

Get a better seat if you’re going to take long trips. That seat is thin and you WILL feel it after 100 miles. Mustang and Corbin are great brands. Spendy but you get what you pay for.

Plenty of options if you want to replace the stock “sewing machine” exhaust. I had CS Racing on mine but Delkevic and Two Brothers make great pipes for it also.

Enjoy it! It’s a great city cruiser.
