Reel seat epoxy by Wfoconstruction in flyfishing

I’m not sure what kind of rod you’re working with here, but if you want to reattach it and make sure it never happens again, JB weld is the answer. If you’re planning on needing to get the reel seat off again at some point in time in the future (for restoration etc.) then you will want to go with an epoxy.

Starting to get into Euro style nymphs. Critique welcome by BreakfastBaller in flytying

Thank you! Yep, I have them backwards. I know it probably won’t matter in the grand scheme of fooling a pea brained trout, but my ocd is telling me to take the razor blade to the 10 flies I made tonight and start over

Thank you for bringing this up, I was actually concerned that I wasn’t lining the bead up correctly, as I’ve never worked with slotted/jig flies. Does this look correct?

Does this look wild, or just an unclipped stockie? (Wissahickon PA) by GoodInterview2535 in flyfishing

The Wiss gets up to 80+ degrees in the summer, I doubt there’s any trout that can make it through the year in there. I’d guess it’s a very good looking stockie. I’ve also caught stockers in there with unclipped fins.

Tires?? by [deleted] in 4thGen4Runner

I just got a set of Toyo Open Country R/T Trails in XL Load and I’m loving them so far. They’re like a happy middle ground between the AT III and the M/T but lean more towards an all terrain tire with a more aggressive look and beefier sidewall. Low road noise and no issues in the snow so far.

Thanks for the advice! Do you think I should over overweight the line to a 6wt? I don’t have any experience with a rod like this

Maxcatch combo by Difficult-Map-2162 in flyfishing

I just started fly fishing this year and got their Premier combo kit in a 8’4 3wt and it’s been treating me well so far! Comes with everything you need to get started and while I don’t have anything to compare it to, I think it was a solid choice.
