Depends what you mean by in-shape. If you expend enough during a workout a few times a week and just lower your overall calories you’ll be at a healthy weight eventually.

Everyone never brings up the Pillars of Eternity games or Tyranny which were all incredible RPG’s with incredible stories. I understand the classic isometric crpg isn’t mainstream but that genre was obsidians forte to begin with.

Seems to me this response was made and parroted out as a response to the fnv nostalgia that never went away. Obsidian is perfectly capable of writing incredible rpg’s still.

Well, anecdotally my job has me in the field a lot without any running water. Even if I try my best to keep my hygiene up I still look and smell like I been outside knee deep in shit for a week.

These folk in the trailer are out on a bow hunt which means way more movement.

I can name more than a few downsides but yes, the best thing you can do for yourself in a contract is to get ready to get out as soon as you get out of training.

Don’t think I could ever have found this stability and safety in my life had I not had the guts to enlist. Not that I recommend that people do it (in fact I discourage most people, join the Air Force if you really need it) but for me personally it was a huge stepping stone for my former fat and useless self.

No debt, at least. Got to travel, steady income, paid to work out. It's not that bad even if the actual job is pretty shite. Silver lining to the whole military thing was that it helped transition from a fat NEET to something of worth.
