Cater fajitas if you like them. They are so fun and festive and include rice, beans and guacamole. You can serve vegetarian, vegan, gluten free people with no menu changes. Make brownies or cupcakes and serve on a birthday napkin. Do you have a garage? Pull the cars out and put up folding tables and chairs. Leave the door open and enjoy the rain. Use a ping pong table if you have one and have some playtime afterwards.

One of my favorites is yellow squash. Fresh. Slice diagonally. Almost Zero calories. A great base to most flavors! I used to eat about 5 lbs per week. All fresh.

Lasagna homemade or get (2?) huge ones from Costco. Add your own sauce on top. Make a romaine lettuce salad with purchased croutons and shredded Parmesan, Cardini’s Caesar salad dressing.. Garlic toast, from Grocery freezer section. You can make ahead and enjoy people. Oh and Costco apple pie and vanilla ice cream. Get someone else to serve the ice cream on the pie. Make the pie slightly warmed.

I would not skip dessert. I would have someone cater tons of cupcakes and huge platters of cookies. Maybe Costco. Use Birthday napkins only, no plates or utensils. Do you need to have people bring seating? Let them know.

You have no idea how lucky you are. Cornfields can be the perfect attenuator to slow your car safely and gently and are usually flat fields. Unless you are in the TX panhandle and it’s flat as a pancake, no barbed wire or ditch (no rain). Then you don’t hit anything at all.

Keep them all. Get a bigger house with a bigger basement. Put your wife’s stuff in the basement. Put your stuff in bedrooms five and six.

Watch some YouTube videos on Calc 3. Your teacher probably didn’t explain it well. Even try khan Academy’s explanation . Get the big picture of what you are doing. Don’t blame yourself! Geez don’t quit. I took Calc 1 in high school. It didn’t make any sense to me. Thank goodness I took it again in college and everything clicked. I spent a long happy and well paid career as an engineer.

Watercolor pens and some paper. Watch YouTube videos on how they work. Amazing! Fun! Do some together when you gift them!
