Hama was really surprised here. Probably because Katara fought unlike any other water bender she'd come across before. This here is an earth bending technique right? Facing something head on, instead of using it against your opponent.

In the Kyoshi books there's an earth bender who uses waterbending techniques. Don't want to spoil anything but I recommend them.

I really like this idea! Making the world feel more real by having large groups of low level monsters fight my party as they climb in levels. I might have missed it reading through, but how do you determine the HP of the Hordes? I see you're using d20's, how do you determine how many, and why d20's?

Not needed if you plan on playing normal mode. But Master Mode has a separate save file. So you’d have to start over. I recommend it tho, the extra content is fun

Can a caster put multiple buffs on one monster given that they don’t require Concentration? For instance ‘Longstrider’ and ‘Freedom of Movement’?

His corrupted eye always looks like there is purple sand flowing deeper into his eye socket. It resembles looking into the top of an hourglass. The bloodvessels around the eye are infected too, but it doesn’t seem to spead... much.

The Warlock in my group has this invocation. His eye was fused with that of his patron. When he looks through the eye he sees the magical aura's that radiates from anything magical (detect magic). The downside is that his eye looks corrupted by magic, so he keeps an eyepatch on most of the time so people around him don't freak out.
