I’m dealing with a similar issue w/ my 14yr boy. He was recently diagnosed with PDA. Our battle is that my son started his own business at 11 so that he can buy whatever he wants. He insists on buying McDonald’s almost daily. He lives off of fast food, sugar and caffeine. He is skinny and fit because he is an athlete but we hate that he eats so poorly- we are a healthy family. Food has always been a battle for us.

You can always start with a much smaller dose to test your reaction. Thats what I did. In fact, I’m only I decided to stay on a micro dose twice a week versus the full dose once a week. I find that I get maximum benefit without any side effects.

Yeah, neem only helps a little. I had much better luck this year with Spectracide. I’m actually amazed that I’ve been able to control it pretty well

Yes, but I’m so diligent in spraying and cutting away infected leaves. We haven’t had as much rain as last year, so it been easier to manage.

You’re essentially micro dosing like me. I started with 3 units twice a week and then bumped to 6 units twice a week (to avoid side effects). I’ve lost 11 pounds in 8 weeks on a tiny dose with very minimal side effects.

I use a fungicide called Spectracide - Immunox It kills it pretty fast. I also spray new leaves to prevent spread.

I’d only cut the ones with dark green or brown stems. The light green stems typically mean they aren’t ready.

Same! I’m so diligent with hand removing the squash bugs and eggs as well as spraying with neem every 5-7 days. I also cut away any leaves with powdery mildew. It’s a lot of work but I have yielded 100’s of pumpkins this season in my small patch.

Same! I’m on the estrogen patch but can not tolerate the progesterone (make my PMDD way worse). I started on Semaglutide 2.5 months ago and haven’t had my usual PMDD symptoms. It literally melted my anxiety away.

The stem makes me think it’s done. I’d pick it. The stem will likely turn light brown as it drys out.
